The Mk II Wired Bikes launched in February 2024 have three rider modes – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. These modes offer throttle assist, altered torque and different top end speeds to allow riders to step up their skills, confidence and ability in a safe way. Refer to the manual to change the modes.

16″ Bike
Beginner: manual start, reduced torque, 10km/h max speed
Intermediate: instant on, reduced torque, 17km/h max speed
Advanced: instant on, no torque restriction, 29km/h max speed

12″ Bike
Beginner: manual start, reduced torque, 7.5km/h max speed
Intermediate: instant on, reduced torque, 11km/h max speed
Advanced: instant on, no torque restriction, 19km/h max speed

The original Wired Bikes only have two ride modes, Standard and the Boost mode. Simply press the boost button until it clicks in to enter boost mode and press it again to deactivate it.
